The Machination Cover

Well, I have to disagree with others and say that the cover just looks dark, without the contrast needed to make it pop out. If you want that dark look, you need to incorporate those shadows onto your figures, so they feel as if they are really emerging from it. Right now I see more of a general light illuminating them, but it really flattens out your image and makes the darkness at the borders feel as if it's pasted on top.
You already know your anatomy is off, so you can work on that. It's mostly her forearm thats too short. May I also suggest some referance photos for that gun. It would make it a much more powerful image.
Overall, I like the female figure the most. She has some nice textures in her shirt. The male figure has some nice hands, but try pushing the values on them. Lastly, I do love your text. That fits very well.
